Five Oaks Winter 2009/10 Events

Five Oaks Centre provides programs for individuals of all ages, families, youth groups and congregations, to deepen their spirituality, broaden their knowledge of the Christian story in terms relevant to today’s world and develop ways of living faithfully in God’s world.

Notice at the very bottom our new Facebook Group. We are hoping to spread word of it so that participants and friends of Five Oaks can have somewhere to share Five Oaks photos, talk about past and upcoming programs and stay connected with each other.

Neos: Finding Balance & Support in Youth Ministry, January 22-24
Move Beyond the typical talk of self-care to explore practices that truly nurture, revitalize and support leaders for the work of ministry with youth.

Participants will choose either weekend to explore relationships, spiritual issues and ultimately themselves through the sharing of song, stories, poetry, sacred trust circles and time for personal reflection.

These Stones Would Shout! is a special Five Oaks program offered free of charge to groups and individuals, to share Five Oaks stories, facts and future vision. Please consider inviting us to one of your Church or Presbytery meetings. We can host your group at Five Oaks or we will travel to your community. We encourage individuals and groups to invite us! Five Oaks Bed and Breakfast

Each June, Presbytery meets at one of our two camps: Menesetung (near Goderich) or Bimini (near Stratford). In 2009, we were at Camp Bimini.
